Office 15

Everyone knows that Windows 8 is coming out this fall and that it’s designed for the tablet and smart phone feel which responds to touch commands, as well as mouse and keyboard controls. So it should come as no surprise that today, Microsoft announced that Office 15 is also coming out soon and it will also feature the touch based controls. This will help Microsoft develop smaller versions that will run on a tablet or maybe even a smart phone. Some are saying to look for this at the end of this year, but I think 1^st quarter of 2013 is more likely. In two years the computing landscape should be entirely different with everyone comfortable with smaller more powerful devices that go anywhere and do anything. This is the start of really cool!
