Say you come into the office on Monday and your laptop, pc, mac or server, or complete network is sitting in a puddle of water. This is a pretty horrible start to the day, but not necessarily the end of all your data or equipment.

We’ve worked on laptops with spilled milk and cat urine and ‘revived them’ to life, so just because your equipment is wet or dented does not mean you can’t get your data from it.

When it comes to a server, suppose your raid card dies, or your raid array dies, or two of the three hard drives in your raid array dies or has bad sectors (you should have at least 4, if not 5). We can bring that back to life as well.

Now here’s the bad news, it’s expensive, VERY expensive to do this kind of data recovery, and here’s some good news. Most business insurance policies will pay up to $10k for disaster recovery work. So please check your policy to make sure that you have it included and if you can, push it to $25k, because when your business is DOWN, you can’t bill and if you can’t bill, well you can’t make money.
